Albeit not incredibly amazing ones… but here are a few randy ones from the month of June.
The good ole Singerman

The game we attempted to play that night, with many “interesting” interruptions.

Happy (hey, now i know how you managed to awake so late that night)

Mr. Nisly

So, yeah, i don’t have near enough pictures of everything, but to say the least this last wknd was very, very wild/crazy/exciting/BUSY. Got off work a little early friday eve and basically partied and hung out with cousins all the way through until monday morning. It was a good time!! Talking to friends for hours on end always makes my day. (One good thing about weddings is that you get to see people that you wouldn’t otherwise.) yes a very good time, although, obviously a rather sleep deprived time as well! I’m signing off! Peaceful Noodles!

Yay! And yes, i’m very glad to throw that possibility out the door. Ok, so i think i inherited my mom’s aversion to surgeries (or even thinking about them
)
Back in 2004 I first noticed some hearing loss in one of my ears, and i thought it was really strange. (it annoyed me most when these dear little adorable kids were whispering big secrets to me and i simply couldn’t catch it) So, we trotted off to get some tests done and the lady thought maybe I had otosclerosis, or weird bone growth in the middle ear, altho she thought i was rather young for it. We took a few tests in ES after that, but there wasn’t much we could do down there. With several of my cousins who are deaf, we were pretty worried that it could be something progressive, that i might completely lose my hearing. We even had an anointing with oil time and that was really good to just leave it all up to God.
Last week we went to a clinic in Wichita (we had gone to the one in Hutch and they couldn’t figure out much either so they referred us there) got some more tests done, (but fortunately in the USA they are more professional and they weren’t as painful!) And a very amazing doctor looked through my eardrum (!!) and said he definitely saw something there and sent us off to another place to get a CAT scan (i got a chocolate afterwards!! lol) He said if it was abnormal bone growth or whatever then he’d do surgery to fix it. I thought i had had enough fussing over and wasn’t even sure a CAT scan was necessary, cause of how outrageously expensive everything is up here, but my parents were concerned so we went through with it and — lastnight I found out that he looked at the results and said it was not a bad bone, but rather an inflated blood vessel and we shouldn’t do surgery under any circumstances! So in a way it’s sad it’s not something fixable, but in a way i’m really glad i don’t have to do surgery! And in conclusion, all is in God’s hands, even though sometimes you don’t know the answer to your prayers until years later! thank you, God, that you are always in control!
